The dismissal of Reiprish comes on the heels of a report that former Miami Dolphins general manager Jeff Ireland was joining the Saints' scouting department.

Vitt definitely needs to go and a McMahon firing has been long overdue. With that said, after typically ranking terribly year after year, our special teams unit ranked in the top 3rd of the league last season. He may have bought himself some extra time.
