Lance Moore
Let's bring him back... We did it with Meachem but Lance could still play a valuable role. |
Re: Lance Moore
Not sure
We have Stills,Cooks and Toon. I rather another big, quick receiver |
Re: Lance Moore
Lance misses his true home
Even in a reduced role he was clutch for us |
Re: Lance Moore
this does not sound like Lance. something must be up. hope all is well for him and family.
|
Re: Lance Moore
Just get on the bus early & clear waivers Lance! LeGarrette showed the way to get out of Pittsburgh, :).
|
Re: Lance Moore
He may be older now but I'd love to have those sure hands and crisp route running again in clutch situations.

Re: Lance Moore
Sure. Bring him back. It's not like any of our current WRs play a full season either. Would be nice to have some savvy veteran leadership back.
|
Re: Lance Moore
He really struggled this year, and that was in an offense with Bell, Miller, and Brown.
I would love to think he could catch 40-5 passes at the vet minimum, but 50 catches in the past two years might signal that he is done |
Re: Lance Moore
He didn't play much because Steelers have excellent young receivers in Bryant and Wheaton but I'll take him over Toon in a heartbeat.
|
Re: Lance Moore
He's someone I'd keep on speed dial but with the current receivers here, I'd like someone with more upside to develop on the back end. There's just not that many balls for him here anymore. With that said, if all it takes is the vets minimum, I wouldn't be against it if we made a move for him.
|
Re: Lance Moore
Vet minimum instead of Meachem its a no brainer but i dont want to keep looking back. Go and find a WR in rounds 4-7 that can come in and stretch the field
|
Re: Lance Moore
If we have to draft WR:
Breshad Perriman 6-2 214 Vince Mayle 6-2 219 Ty Montgomery 6-0 216 |
Re: Lance Moore
I would release Meachem to sign Moore!
|
Re: Lance Moore
I want Moore. I want lance Moore. Come home Lance we've missed you.
|
Re: Lance Moore
I wouldn't complain about having this group of WR's:
Colston Stills Cooks Toon Moore Saunders Give Seantavious Jones and Brandon Coleman a little more time to develop on the practice squad. |
Re: Lance Moore
Come home.
|
Re: Lance Moore
I would love bring him home but, vet min. I like lance to much to insult the man.
|
Re: Lance Moore
Our locker room would feel his impact. Lance is clutch. He's a little slower but clutch. He would be the veteran leadership these young guys could lean on. Bring him home to New Orleans. :bng:
|
Re: Lance Moore
I'd pass. I rather see us develope the Young guys in the roster.
|
Re: Lance Moore
I'd bring him in .... He fits our system
|
Re: Lance Moore
His Mom would maybe post to the board again ... I thought that was kinda' cool, :).
|
Re: Lance Moore
I think Lance would be a welcome addition to the offense! I'd love to see him come back as a third or fourth receiver and be a mentor to the young guys!
|
Re: Lance Moore
-He has sticky fingers like a tree frog.
-I dont know how everyone thinks 30 is old. I run as fast now, as I did at 20. faster. smaller waist. -He has all the same skills, with more knowledge. - he does funny dances. I vote yes. |
Re: Lance Moore
This team could seriously use some Hingle McCringleberry again.
|
Re: Lance Moore
As a Saints fan I want him on the team. We have an attitude problem that has to be dealt with. Start bringing in these types of players and the attitudes get drowned. Brees has pretty much stated that this is a must have to win.
|
Re: Lance Moore
Most over-rated player in recent Saints history.
If I wanna see someone dance, I'll watch Dancing with the Stars. |

The goaline 2pt conversion looked like a ballet lesson. There are many, many more catches where he completely sacrificed his body to haul it in. Did you see any of that this season? I didn't. All I saw were drops and push offs that costs us games. |

Re: Lance Moore
There is nothing like veteran leadership, and sure hands... Something we missed all last season.... Meacham will be gone so a spot will definitely open up for a veteran to step in... Toon isn't a for sure in my eyes, Cooks could use a veteran to show him how to run crisper routes not take the shots that get you injured. And it won't be as expensive as his previous contracts with the team... I don't see how you don't at least kick the tires....

Re: Lance Moore
Yes. Yes. Yes. We need clutch.
