Lofton Excited To Work With Allen, Ryan
I think Lofton meant more to the defense than his PFF rankings showed.
Eager to see how Allen impacts several factors this year: - Roster cuts - FA signings - Draft picks - Execution on the field Saints' Curtis Lofton excited to work with Rob Ryan, Dennis Allen - ESPN Quote:

Things im sick of hearing
Saints had the worst defense in history in 2012 No they didnt, they gave up the most yards. Now unless i stupid, yards do not win games. The Saints gave up 454 points, the Colts in 1981 gave up 533 |

2012 was an anomaly.
2013 set the expectation. 2014 was a disappointment. 2015 better be retribution. |

But Lofton said he doesn’t feel like a personnel overhaul is necessary -- just a performance overhaul.
agree 80%, the secondary needs a major infusion of talent especially at CB. |

Re: Lofton Excited To Work With Allen, Ryan
We will see. Getting trampled by the run game and passing game looked pretty pathedic to me all year. There are quite a few pieces needed and 1 year at being a #4 rated D out of how many years of bad D's want cut it. Even if we had a mid-range D on a consistant level is way better than 4th to dead last. Far to much inconsistancy to compete with the big boys like N.E., Seattle, Dallas to get to the big game. I do hold the D more accountable than the O but the O is not without blame either, just not as much.

Re: Lofton Excited To Work With Allen, Ryan
We definitely need a personnel overhaul especially at the #2 ILB,CB, OLB, DT, and maybe DE if hicks cant get his **** together.

Re: Lofton Excited To Work With Allen, Ryan
Basically it wouldnt hurt to put some quality depth on this team via draft or FA

Re: Lofton Excited To Work With Allen, Ryan
There are so many good players (and some underrated) to pass (probably won't break the bank): Kareem Jackson, Antonio Cromartie, Darius Butler, Walter Thurmond, Chris Culliver, Buster Skrine, Perrish Cox, Byron Maxwell...
