I like both of these signings. We need maturity in the locker room and these guys can compete with the younger players, set the tone in the locker room who can have a positive impact throughout OTA's and into training camp. Our teams needs young leaders to come in and step up. The Saints need veteran leadership in a desperate way and the coaching staff seem to be addressing that with these two signings. I expect to see several more veteran players added before we hit training camp to compete with all the youth we have on the roster.

The way I look at it they counted Drew out years ago no reason Hightower can't make it back.

If they can both get healthy they could contribute quite a bit to our team.

Kenny Phillips when healthy is a great safety.

A healthy Hightower is probably better than any RB on our roster.

But the question is is he 100% healthy now?

Nah. His 100% is probably 80% to Ingram.

If Hightower is at 100% that's probably like Ingram being at 80%. So he's not better than Ingram. What's confusing about that?
