Culliver, Mcphee, Franklin; I'd be happy with all three:bng:

I would also put Buster Skrine in the mix. This guy has been tested/targeted more so than others last season (Hayden All Pro locks up the other side), he is young and talented.

Chris Culliver. ?
Chris Culliver somehow emerges as a top potential free-agent cornerback | ProFootballTalk Orlando Franklin LG/RT i would be surprised to see him let go and if they did it is because they can not match his offers. so the saints probably will be in the same boat. Cutting grubs would only free up 3 million this year with the 6 million in dead money. next year it goes up 7.3 million in cap saving even with 3 million in dead money. So why make the move? draft and groom and hope for the best next year and if the football gods bless you, that 7.3 million can be spent else where next year. that is a huge reason i like La'el Collins and Brandon Scherff in the first. Trae Waynes has thrown a huge monkey wrench in there though. Both can slide inside in a heartbeat. that flexibility would cover any move we might need to make in 2016. got 7.3 mill in cap savings and another draft to plug the hole at RT made by the move. who knows may hit gold twice in the draft this year and that 7.3 million could be spent else where. besides he is 6'7" how is drew to see over him? Mcphee i am all for 100%. So pass on the top two IMO bargin shopping? maybe it is best to address the RT OG and CB in the draft. its a good deep draft for those positions. Spend whatever money you have in FA for LB here are a few solid risk rewards that are out there. the draft is looking mighty thin on LB this year Brian Orakpo, OLB Washington Redskins Roll the injury dice here. sign a short-term deal with heavy incentives in his contract. incredible value? Mason Foster, ILB, Buccaneers. Age: 26 Jamari Lattimore, ILB, Packers. Age: 26 Jonathan Casillas, ILB, Patriots. Age: 28 OR take the huge gamble on Rolando McClain, ILB, Cowboys. Age: 26.has he truly turned his life around? |

As for McClain... nut case ? Maybe. Injury prone? Stayed in the tub for a few weeks. Facing a possible 4 game suspension for substance abuse (currently under appeal). While on the field, he arrives with bad intentions. FAST, TALL & athletic. Some forget Rolando was a #1 draft selection coming out of Bama a few years ago. One last incentive... reunion with his former LB Coach & now assistant new Saints defensive coach (Harris) Hmmm... 1 year deal with low risk. In my opinion, he is an upgrade at the LB position. |

Chris Culliver will cost about 4 million a year i'm sure. I would love to have him.

McPhee wants 8-10 million per season.
