Not if Brees' contract has a "no trade" stipulation on guaranteed years as has been used more and more frequently in veteran contracts. Many contract details beyond the basics are never made public.

If we didn't make the championship game this year id really consider this if im Loomis.

2016 first- and third-round picks
2017 second round pick, and maybe even another low pick or two

If Loomis balks, I'm also adding a conditional third-round pick that becomes a first if the Bills make the*AFC Championship*Game or*Super Bowl.

I might have to throw in whatever young quarterback I have floating around and another young player on a cheap deal


A first and third in 2016 snd a second plus others in 2017 for a QB that will be 37.

Last time I looked Buffalo was a cold place! I keep forgetting, IF it never gets COLD in Buffalo again. ( One of those beyond basics that are never made public) Yes it will happen, I read it on the internet, it has to be true!! Bonjour!!

We have to move on from him eventually and we might as well get some compensation from it. There'd be a lot of teams interested in that deal so I doubt we'd make him go to Buffalo but I don't think it's a stupid idea.

Two First Round Picks and One Third Round Pick and you take Byrd and his contract back...
