According to ESPN NFL Nation reporter Nick Wagoner, who covers the St. Louis Rams, defensive tackle Kendall Langford will be meeting with the New Orleans Saints while on tour visiting several teams.
He spent the last three seasons in St. Louis as a plug up the middle stopping ball carriers, totaling 101 combined tackles and eight sacks. Langford, who hasn’t missed a single game in his seven-year career, was initially drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the third round of the 2008 NFL Draft. Cant say i have ever noticed him but then being overshadowed on that Rans line would not be hard. He has certainly given the DE the opportunity to go hunting though. Could be a great bit of inder the radar business

I like his durability. Don't know much about his skill-set though... Would he be a nose tackle or more of a 5 technique.

"Hasn't missed a single game"
Wow, there's something we never go for, we seem to bring in guys coming off double ACL surgeries hoping they are finally healthy! |

He'd play inside in our 4-3, or DE in a 3-4 base or DT in a 3-4 pass package. |
Re: Report: DT Kendall Langford Scheduled to Visit New Orleans Saints
6-5 275 to 311 depends on the site
DE at 277 ? DT at 311 ? First round pick Aaron Donald makes him a cap cut 49 tackles and five sacks in 2013 great health history. Combine Results: 40-yard dash 4.95; 20-yard shuttle 4.69; 20-yard dash 2.84; 3-cone 7.72; Bench Press 24 reps; Vertical Jump 27 if the price is right Jordan will be a FA so could be a nice safety blanket. Hicks could see more time at NT i like the flexibility impact he might have on the DL. weight and position seem to be the big question |
Re: Report: DT Kendall Langford Scheduled to Visit New Orleans Saints
Might show the out right release of Jordan or a sign and trade. Langford can be had for 3 million and Jordan has a 1 year 5.70 million. Don't really see a drop off in talent after last year. SP did say he would shake things up!

Re: Report: DT Kendall Langford Scheduled to Visit New Orleans Saints
Jordan is not going anywhere. We're gonna draft a beastly nose tackle or sign one in free agency and Jordan, Edibali and Gallette will all have double digit sacks next year. Edibali will develop into a top tier defensive end next year. Improved pass rush and stout run defense boosts the play of the secondary and both starting corners have at least 4 picks, and Warren has 6. Wow! That is a serious reach. Oh well, I predicted a Saints superbowl victory every year before this one,so I'm not gonna quit now.

Sounds like a quality signing if Loomis can pull it off, replace Bunkley who couldn't stay healthy

He's an unknown to me. But if the brass likes him enough to bring him in I'm on board with it. Besides, what do I really Know? Nada.
