I'd love him here but he wouldn't take a big cut to stay with the Pats,he will want well over 6ml a year and we don't have it. Whoever doesn't get Suh will get him

Come on now, Saints can't bring in every vet that's been cut. Besides he wouldn't take a pay cut to stay with the Pats, he's out of the Saints price range and I'd be pissed if he was the Saints big splash in FA

Haloti Ngata could be available. Now that's the guy I want to see in Saints uniform.

Would be a huge get, give him a 2 year deal. Maybe Jenkins can learn a thing or two from the future hall of famer..

Re: Vince Wilfork

he wont sign quickly. he played good last year and would be an upgrade to what we have, yet he is now a piece in a rotation. draft a player like Danny Shelton i could see the pick up making sense. these two guys are the same type of players.

Haloti Ngata > Vince Wilfork

if they could pull it off, I'd love to see Ngata with the Saints

Saints can't afford Mr. Wilfork services. Would be a nice option though.

Amazing some of the names that are out on the open market.

I predict the Patriots defense will decline next year. They will be significantly "deflated." Of course, knowing the Pats, they'll probably prove me wrong and find a way to end up smelling like a rose.

Like the 'housing bubble', 'student-loan bubble', 'central bank bubble' (and whatever other bubble is out there), we may now be experiencing an 'NFL salary bubble' that is about to burst ... hey, everybody can't get paid/make JJ-Watt-money, eh?). I think salaries are peaking and teams are sending a message ... you can't have only a few players soaking up the majority of your salary cap and expect to field a competitive team.

Teams are gonna' have to start drafting smarter, coaching their kids up more & hope they can win before the rookies hit those big-time salary levels. Teams like the Patriots who can maintain high levels of performance and can use winning championships as a negotiating tool to keep/get quality players at a discount have the edge, if you ask me, :).
