Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reported that if Forsett doesn't sign with the Ravens, both the Redskins and Saints are likely to make a play for him.

Forsett spoke to Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun about the state of talks with the Ravens and the potential of a return to Baltimore:

"It’s a waiting game right now," Forsett said. "I know both sides have interest. It’s crazy how things can turn out but hopefully, preferably everything can work out.

"I would love to stay here. I want to be here in Baltimore. They gave me my shot, gave me my opportunity. But then again, there’s that business side we have to work out. I’m praying that everything works out.”

He sure ran all over us. I really like the guy, but what does he cost? He is little and slow. Obviously he has great vision, is totally fearless and very quick. He's gotta be stronger than he looks too, because he looks like he weighs about 160lbs. Similar to Sproles, but I think Sproles is actually bigger than Forsett.

No it didnt
PT dead money was 830k his cap was 2.5ml so we saved roughly 1.7ml

"Pass, one good year does not a good back make…." -Yoda. He could just as easily be running for the Spokane Shock or Iowa Barnstormers in the Arena league. If we can't do better with the cats we have, then just wait. Someone will be looking for work eventually, then we'll get 'em at a decent price. or possibly towards the end of the draft….bigger needs taken care of first.

It all depends on what he wants. If he wants big money... yes we should pass.
If he wants reasonable money, I'd definitely consider it.

Jacksonville has beaucoup to spend and in need to take the load off the Bortles sophmore season...

Oakland will be looking for change after McFadden had a disappointing tour...

San Diego is in the same boat after Ryan Matthews failed to be the full-time replacement to Tomlinson...

Atlanta's Steven Jackson experiment failed...

Carolina will be moving on...

Lots of teams may pay just a bit more than we can spare, but I don't see spending money and rolling it forward on Forsett...

my two favs are in round 3

Jeremy Langford - has the speed
David Johnson - has the power

both have hands and know how to pick up the blitz.

Rotational RBs should not take up a ton of cap space. plus either of these two have a solid shot of filling the void cutting PT leaves behind and have a chance of doing Ingrams role also. well not the IR bit.

My worry is taking a RB in the third when we have so many holes to fill. Dont get me wrong if a great talent os there fair enough but with needs at ILB/OLB/DL/OL/CB i really think other needs come first. The one thing the front office has a eye for is RB talent late in UDFA over the past 10 or so years

Take that RB signing money and put it towards your list. much rather put the extra money in a veteran at any of those positions over a part time piece for our RB committee system.

Robinson did not impress me last year and the year before he was ok

Do not waste a multi first pick again or tie up huge dollars on a RB in our system.

versatility first. PT/Sproles must be replaced.

then look for gold else were after the draft. who knows Robinson could shock the world and really look like a player to take over

To me RB is one of the few positions where a rookie can actually come in and really make an immediate impact. I'd rather see us spend that money on FA for other spots and draft a RB
