absolutely. This guy has done nothing. I was trying to defend him early in the season, but I would be willing to cut him loose if he doesnt show up this season.

How long do you give the number 6 pick in the draft? Hes had 2 wasted years so far. I hope they dont allow a third season of buffet lines and inactives. Seems to me that he doesnt care about being a back up or not playing at all, and thats not a good sign. This is his season to show up or get out.

I think they should cut his fat ass. I wish I could get paid millions to watch the games from the sideline at least me and everybody else on this board gives a crap about the Saints & all the Saints are to Sully is his own personal wellfare check.

should he be cut...of course, would i cut him....not with the cap hit!!!!

Someone help me with this please. If he is cut is it a one time cap hit, or is it for the life of the original contract? If it is a one time cap hit get it over with and let him go. To me it would be better to take that than another 3 years of his salary and waste of a roster spot.

My gut feeling is to cut him yesterday, but I don\'t know what the cap hit would be so that would depend.

Regardless of money, I be willing to be that he is the biggest BUST in franchise history. That sorry....!

..what\'s the difference between him taking the cap space while on the roster and taking the cap space while not on the roster? Either way the money is gone and the Saints don\'t get any production whatsoever on the player...

If he does come into camp out of shape again, it would aern this staff a bit more credibility if they simply cut him, admitted that we sumply made a huge mistake with this kid. We fupped duck.
I would have more respect for them.

If he comes into camp in shape, eager and enthusiastic, then he\'s got the talent to be the missing piece in a dominating D-line.

I\'m hoping for the latter, but we\'ll most likely get the former.

No we need to do more to him than just cut him. I\'d say we keep him and fine him for everything under the sun to recoup the money he is being paid and him not producing like he should. We are going to get anything for him and if we do allow him to go else where he is only going to be a pro-bowler and end up beating us single handedly and keep us out of the playoffs.

Cutting him is too good for him. He needs to spend training camp as tackling dummy. Rather than take the cap hit, let our practice squad guys leave him with a career ending injury.

Man thats rough. Just because he is fat and lazy doesnt mean you want to seriously injure him does it?

Well if he comes into camp next year in shape with a proper attitude, then yes, I\'d rather not take the cap hit. If he\'s still a lazy piece of waste, cut him loud and clear.

It would be cheaper to keep her, err, I mean him.
