Re: Saints Trade Graham to the Seahawks

This trade is perfect for Seattle. We were trying to trade the 1st round pick all offseason so from our perspective is a proven pro bowl starter for a 1st round pick..... yes. That being said, I hate Graham so this will be interesting.

Unger has had health problems and seems to be breaking down. If he is healthy, you will love him. The real value for your organization will be the draft picks. We all love unger but he is unreliable at this point. Obviously your organization sees real talent in the first round so it is impossible to say "who won".

Same with Graham, he has battle injuries the past two seasons... And against physical defenders(decent press off the line) and Graham struggles mightily...

Look forward to him becoming non existent in games when he is defended properly

It will be interesting to see how he fairs in your offense, he might be better because Wilson has the ability to extend plays when the pocket breaks down

Although as a seahawks fan you will already know what happens when teams get physical with Graham at the line, you did it in the playoffs and he completely disappeared.

Or the legion of boom will toughen him up; hard to say. He is going to be tested real fast because these guys will make his life miserable if he has a soft attitude.

OMG it just might be a WIN WIN for both teams LOL.
It is funny how when a trade happens one team has to win and one lose. To be honest I didn't think Graham was tough enough to be on this team but perhaps practicing against them everyday might be the best thing for him.

Quite possibly, it will be very interesting to say the least

I think you hit the nail on the head earlier too, the first round pick is our real prize, if Unger can stay healthy then that just sweetens the deal.

The thing is, any WR can get open when the play breaks down, and Wilson breaks contain. Graham's real value will be his ability to help Wilson from the pocket, which he can definitely can do in the red zone, especially. To me, the question becomes Graham's position. All along, I've said that Graham is a WR, and I don't foresee him playing much in a three point stance.

And that is exactly what he will be, a wide receiver. Him, Baldwin, Kearse and our new big body Mathews. Russell Wilson will now have height in his receiving core. I love it. His salary will replace Percy Harvin.
