Saints sign CB Brandon Browner

Saw this late last night:

As of now, Brandon Browner is still set to visit the Redskins. He spent time in New Orleans today Chris Russell (@Russellmania980)

Today should interesting, hopefully he doesn't make that trip because Redskins have the luxury of over paying that the Saints don't

Damn. We offered him more than 5 million per year and he's still looking around? Sigh. I rather guarantee Lewis' contract now.

I don't look at it like that. I think he will sign. Just ironing out the details

IF the Saints pull the trigger on Browner, I wonder if that means Tramon and Spiller are out of the question, no?

Stupid monet getting offered around for cb this year. Look around and hope for another 2/3ml guaranteed

I don't blame him for looking around. He should definitely look to maximize his contract as this will probably be the last contract he signs of value. As the price rises, which if he makes it to Washington likely will happen, that just makes me lose interest. I'd hate to get in a bidding war and 5+ million is already a very fair offer. It just makes Lewis' contract look like even more of a bargain.
