When our players basically gave up on Payton I think he realized it was a time that it was him or them that needed to go. Payton might be stubborn in ways but I feel he has never give up like the players did on him and the team. Don't think no matter who they are or however good they are they can quit on a man like Payton, he will be demanding respect from everyone from here on out and I would not have it any other way.

A good head coach won't take any c**p from anyone and if he thinks you are not putting in 100% effort for 100% of the time, then you're gone and thats how it should be. No one is bigger than the team, whoever you are.

I'm not saying all these trades and changes are going to work out but at least he is trying to get the Saints back to the team that we all want to see, only time will tell of course, so watch this space.

At least it keeps the off season interesting, thats for sure! :-)

I have to say though that I don't want to see Kenny Stills gone, if that is one of the next moves SP is considering! I still think he will be an excellent player for the Saints in future, so we should keep him!
