this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; When our players basically gave up on Payton I think he realized it was a time that it was him or them that needed to go. Payton might be stubborn in ways but I feel he has never give up ...

When our players basically gave up on Payton I think he realized it was a time that it was him or them that needed to go. Payton might be stubborn in ways but I feel he has never give up like the players did on him and the team. Don't think no matter who they are or however good they are they can quit on a man like Payton, he will be demanding respect from everyone from here on out and I would not have it any other way.
