Tyrunn Walker

We let him get away. Was really hoping he'd be back.

Can't keep em all.

I liked his play. But I have to believe that stronger cornerback play will improve our pass rush.

Don't get this one. Restricted FA and able to resign for reasonable numbers.
Dude only gonna get better...........

I don't get the logic of this. That's like saying Brees makes the O line better...it doesn't....the o line makes Brees better(these past couple of years back that up). D line and O line are the backbone of offense and defense.

It actually makes sense. Two corners(Browner/Lewis) who press well throws the timing between the receivers and Quarterback off. Gives the pass rushers more time to get to the quarterback. Have you not ever heard coverage sack? The better the coverage the longer the QB holds the ball

It works both ways on defense, but mostly one way on offense.

Maybe he had an attitude problem or something to that nature, which kept the Saints from paying the tender.

Otherwise, I don't get it.

Ok, what I heard yesterday on sportstalk about Detroit no longer talking with DT C.J. Mosely about coming back makes a little more sense now ... after losing Suh & Fairley I figured the Lions were looking at running a 1-6-4 or a 1-5-5 type defense next season,. Short term solution to a long term problem, IMO ... kick the can down the road,.

hustle was not a problem with the guy. that is why i am stumped. clear house i understand but to do it and throw out any guide lines as to what players need to do to stay is crazy. keeping a player like this would have made a statement about what you need to do to be on this team.

i fear the saints have lost focus

He's kinda' an unknown to me & I'll probably spend some time today looking into him more, but it's good to hear about his hustle, :). Only a 1yr deal raises some red flags as the Lions will usually sign a guy like this to a longer deal, so something is out of the ordinary here ... might just be the Lions being "the Lions" making their usual marginal decisions, #shrug.

Hey, if he works out half as good as Joique Bell did, I'll be happy, :).

He is really good in a rotation. Nothing pretty but brings his all each and every play. The only way I see him leaving is possibly swithing to a 3-4, a little light in that set but perfect size for a 4-3 that you guys run. Good pick up for Detroit in my opinion.
