I have just been wondering why no one is signing Pierre Thomas. Not just the Saints, but anyone. He has been a solid running back for a few years. Someone should show interest in him.

He was linked to the Ravens if the didn't get Forsett. My guess is teams let him wait knowing that its a deep draft at RB and if the 3rd down backs start coming off the board he gets a call. New England is my bet

Guaranteed he is on a roster come the start of the season. Too versatile and a great person.

I do too. I think they are giving him a chance to get some money but if all things are equal he will be back here. There is no way they don't want the depth and versatility he can offer. They are just respecting his deserving a chance to cash in somewhere else if he can.

I was wondering the same thing. He is too good at the screen for people to pass on. Im surprised he hasn't signed already too. He will be on a roster this year. Probably on a team we play against and he will probably get 200 all purpose yards on us like every other player we release and play against lol.

I am still kind of puzzled by the cut. He didnt cost much and his ability to catch screen passes is definitely an assett that doesnt come around every day.

Most teams are probably looking at their draft options first. PT is an aging Veteran with some injury history now. But I guarantee he will be on someones roster in the Fall.

Um, I don't think PT is coming back guys, not by a long shot. Well minus a significant injury and he is available off the wire. Love him and everything he has done for us, but I do not see him lining up for us this season.

PT isn't getting much attention because of his age and the fact that he has been hurt quite a bit. Especially last year where he was phased out of the game plan and I don't think that was because he was healthy. I think PT was hurt more often than not last year which is why he was cut and why he didn't do a lot last year.

How can anyone think they would bring him back, when all last year they gave most of his carries to Ingram?

They ultimately phased him out last year and cut him this year...
