Really don't like taking Collins at 13...

If he were a cornerstone Left Tackle, maybe, but he's not a LT...

He's a RT/Guard and we can get a Donovan Smith or Ali Marpet in the third round...

Use the first round picks on dynamic linebackers, defensive linemen...

We've got to fix the defense and win back that line of scrimmage...

OT on the right side has been a huge problem no matter what call is made. It may be worth it just to have better control over the line of scrimmage. Saints may have had a potent offense, but it had so many 3/4-outs over the season that cause the defense's demise in many games.

Control the line, control the game. We should learn at least SOMETHING from the last 4 superbowl winners.

Jonathan Martin waived by San Francisco 49ers - ESPN

Martin could be a valued backup and allow O-Line to wait till the 5th rd. Started 9 games for the faggy winers last year.

Pretty sure Guard is a bigger need than tackle at this time. Collins will be a stud Guard for a long time.

OT La'el Collins
CB Trae Waynes

still on the board. that leaves the last thing that is close to being a sure thing with

WR DeVante Parker

after that it is all upside and hype. high risk high rewards types.

Randy Gregory looks to have screwed up everything. pray that at least 2 teams ahead of us take the roll of the dice and go with a few of them high risk high rewards types and leave us some more of those solid less hyped players to pick from

There are always surprises come draft day. I know that over the last few years I have been shocked at players dropping and some 2nd round projected guys getting taken in the top 10. It's a sure thing that a few teams will reach for players that shouldn't go in the top 10.

Man I wish we had this amount of picks last year to draft OBJ...I was telling all my friends before the draft that he was going to be the best WR in the draft. ( i live in vegas)

Are you sure about Danielle Hunter's draft position? Mingo was drafted 6th last year and Hunter is better against the run. Hunter needs to improve as a pass rusher but with that speed he can do that. Kwon Alexander is about the same size as Derrick Brooks who just entered the HOF. Alexander was a ferocious hitter at LSU. He can play. I totally agree that the Saints won't draft LSU players. WHY NOT?! They're good and the fans love it.

Agreed. I think Collins next to Armstead would be lethal. A great O-Line protects the defense and Brees too. It's a proven way to build a team.
