Lance Moore's stolen Super Bowl ring sold in auction for $44K, report says
The mystery New Orleans Saints' Super Bowl ring for sale on Craigslist with a $45,000 asking price might not be too far off. A ring that once belonged to former Saints receiver Lance Moore sold for nearly that amount in 2014, Huffington Post reported Thursday.
The website said Heritage Auctions sold the ring for $44,812. An insurance company sold the ring following its recovery in a Las Vegas storage unit after its theft, according to the auction website. The website said the ring became possession of the insurance company following a payout to Moore to make up for the loss.
