bad news is with all them doping the draft up all the players we talk about will be off the board.

so trading down from 13 seems to be a better idea with each passing day.

I am liking the round 1 talent more and more in 2016. so stocking piling picks in 2016 looks to be more appealing than ever as this draft goes up in smoke with all the head cases in 2015

I am to the point trade both round 1. get firsts and seconds in 2016 and load up with 2nd round picks this year which is about were this draft talent really should start at

While the argument could be made for this, I can't see Loomis/Payton basically bowing out on the 1st round following a 7-9 campaign.

Not to say either is on the hot seat, but if they do what you are suggesting and the team struggles again with this more favorable schedule, they could find their seats warm in 2016.

Brees will be gone after 2015 if 2015 doesn't result in a minimum of 2 playoff games for the Saints.

Then you're really pressed to win - trying to find a QB that can hold his jock

Disagree; Brees will be here until he decides to retire... Even after he retires as a player, he will have the opportunity to be in the organization if he so chooses

Outlook: The Saints paid a price to have five picks among the top 78 selections, trading away Pro Bowl tight end Jimmy Graham and a promising young receiver in Kenny Stills. So the team has added need at those positions. And word around the league is that Sean Payton has put a renewed emphasis this year on finding the right type of guys, from a character standpoint, which could be a little limiting. But there's no question that Payton and GM Mickey Loomis are in prime position to rebuild the defense and the interior of the offensive line -- and maybe move around the board some, too -- with this impressive war chest of draft capital.
I don't think we have to worry about "issues", not this year...

Truth is,anybody we draft can have problems that nobody knows about until one day during their career something comes up.We've had our share of issues on our team in the past with players. Will Smith was suspended at least once that I can think of for using PED's and was in the news for domestic abouse,and who knew Joe Morgan was an alcoholic?lol But as far as Ray...I really didn't want the Saints picking him anyway.

damn, one less player one of these idiot GMs would of taken so some real talent could fall to 13. There's the real shame in all of this, I don't care about him
