The agent for LSU's Collins is working to pull him from the draft, according to Fox Sports. Collins could then respond to a police investigation into the death of a woman, where Collins is not a suspect. Then he would enter the supplemental draft.

He wants to enter the supplemental draft, so he can clear his name before. Analysts on the NFL Network say it's not going to happen though... His agent is pleading with the NFLPA, but since Collins isn't "technically" a player yet; they can't help him...

I've heard some teams have him completely off their boards.

Realistically, I can see him sliding all the way into the 2nd round.

I would take him in the 4th. If he is cleared giving a 4th for his talent would be the steal of the draft. If not we lost a 4th.

Wow. I'm sure there is some sort of CBA clause to back this.

All I know is that Collins is in no man's land. Too late to pull out of the draft for character concerns and he isn't part of the NFLPA or CBA so if innocent, he's screwed.

Even the Baton Rouge police have said he is not even a suspect, I'd have no problems drafting him...

Very difficult to believe he has a connection to it, not impossible, just very hard to see any reasoning behind it. Right before the draft and the child lived? Let's see..how do I ruin the day I have been waiting for my whole life and also arrange it so that I have to pay child support if it's mine. Yes, I got it kill her the week of the draft, but make sure the child lives. Perfect plan. It would be the most outrageous pre-draft story of all time.

This is bad timing for him which could result in very good timing for us at 31.

It would be great if he slid to our 2nd round pick, then ended up being cleared!

NFLPA can't represent him as he isn't a player yet and this would open the door for everyone else with issues to go into the supplemental draft in the future. He will be there at 31. Coach has probably already talked to police and got the scoop. so if we draft him you know we are for sure he'll be cleared.

I am going to think that coach will wait to draft him with our last 3rd today or 2nd if his questioning is done with police.

Reports now say he won't be questioned until after the draft. I still think he gets drafted, but who knows when. Would love to steal him in the 3rd and have him cleared.
