Re: ANY Positive Thoughts
I dont think there is one thing not to like about what has gone on so far this offseason. Needs are met, we have a great group of young guys along with enough veterans to bring them along slowly and still win now, we are planning for the future, and we are going to look like a completely different team. I think this is the most physical teams we have seen under Payton. I see us committing more to the run. We have pieces in place to not only get ahead but to stay ahead in games and finish strong.
We get to see what Byrd can do. Im excited about that. One place to focus on is WR but I think we will address it if one is not already here. Like someone else said I think the fact that we have more talent on the O line will help the guys we already have. Im more excited this year than I have been in a long time. Kind of wierd feeling to have an offseason with no holdout, no bountygate, no players union drama etc. |
Re: ANY Positive Thoughts
I'm engaged and feeling real positive about that...

Re: ANY Positive Thoughts
Most exciting offseason since 2006!
This team's makeup is eerily similar to 2009, at least on offense. Excited to see the rebound efforts from: Jordan Hicks Jenkins Vaccaro Byrd Evans Colston Toon Cooks And the new pieces: Spiller Browner Unger S. Anthony Kikaha Williams Tull Davison |
Re: ANY Positive Thoughts
Everyone is 0-0. The Failclowns, Panzies and Yucks, don't look to be much improved on paper. The Saints drafted three LB's and two CB's who all attack the ball. The Saints brought in defensive coaching help in Allen. The Saints seem to desire a more balanced offense with a greater emphasis on the running game. The levees are holding. There's always great food and entertainment around town.

Re: ANY Positive Thoughts
I think the Saints have done well in the off-season!
We have had to say goodbye to some players that most of us would have thought would be around for longer than they were but nothing stays the same for long in the NFL and that's given us a chance to get major problem areas sorted (hopefully!) on defence and freshen things up on other areas of the team. It will also be good to see the guys that were injured last year back on the field where they belong (Hey there Mr Cooks!) so lets hope they can ALL stay healthy for this season and get the Saints into the post-season this year! I can't wait for the season to start again! GEAUX SAINTS!!!!!! :-) |
Re: ANY Positive Thoughts
we're still 0-0 with 16 games left and still have a shot at the superbowl

Re: ANY Positive Thoughts
No, two "Unanimous Sources" told me the front office has no plan for the upcoming season. In fact any player can start at any position they choose
