Trestman Named Offensive Coordinator
Marc Trestman, who spent last season as the Assistant Head Coach and quarterbacks coach for the Miami Dolphins, has been named the new offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at NC State, according to head coach Chuck Amato. A 17-year veteran of the NFL coaching ranks, Trestman has coached for eight different teams and in 15 playoff games. He served as an offensive coordinator in two AFC Championship games and a Super Bowl and has coached players such as Jerry Rice, Rich Gannon, Bernie Kosar, Steve Young and Jake Plummer. He has also worked with such well-respected coaches as Bill Walsh, George Siefert, Marty Schottenheimer, Jon Gruden and Bud Grant.
