Finally Coming to New Orleans!!
 

So I met this girl a while back and things have progressed nicely, she's now my girlfriend.

It seems she is a great listener and thoughtful person because she's either noticed how much I'm on this site or randomly watching Saints videos on Youtube.

It might have been that I've lost track of the amount of times I've said "man, I'd love to watch Brees play for real before he retires" :)

Turns out, she's a Saint (pun intended :bng:) for my birthday she's booked what I've always wanted!

Tickets to Saints vs Patriots Preseason week 2 and I'm so unbelievably stoked!!

Literally cannot wait for August to get here now! She's got us Corner of the endzone seats, I believe its right next to where the players emerge from the tunnel!!

I know I'm ranting here, it's just because I'm so pumped to actually watch a Saints game for real this time!

It would be great if any others were there!!

Dizz, I live about 3 hours north of New Orleans and I've still never been to a game in person. So don't feel too bad lol. That's really awesome though, happy for you. Hope you guys enjoy your visit!

You are going to have a great time Dizz.....both at the game and New Orleans in general!!! I try to get to New Orleans about 3 times a year.....it's my favorite city on earth! Have a great time.....and any girl that buys you tickets to a Saints game is MORE than a keeper!!

Yeah that's exactly what I'm thinking, even for preseason the atmosphere in the Dome will still surprise me!

I think week 2 will probably get about 3-4 drives from the starters, plus we have some interesting players trying to earn roster spots this year, especially on defense so I think that will add to the excitement!

1) You're gonna get blackout drunk on Bourbon St.
2) Marry her. She went above and beyond and cares about your interests that much that she would spend that much money on this trip for you. She sounds like a total sweetheart and I'm happy for ya mate!

Just kidding. That is awesome.

I have been going to games on and off my whole life. If you want to meet some players, you picked the perfect time. Just wait til the crowd clears out then just walk downstairs all the way to the parking garage. That is where the players park. There will be other people there. Its one of those, oh since you know how to get here, it's cool, kind of things. The biggest part is literally waiting until the crowd clears. Safety gets super relaxed after that. And, it is pre-season. Hell, I'm tempted to get a couple of tickets for my wife meet you to show the way to the Bat Cave.

Thats awesome man. I hope you enjoy the city as well as the game. There really is nothing like the experience of being there in person. In some ways preseason games can be better. Most people will be REAL fans.

I met some very hospitible people when I was in the UK and I know you will experience the same here!
