ScooterGate for Saints' Brian Dixon?
 

New Orleans Saints cornerback Brian Dixon's trial for resisting arrest has been pushed back to June 29.

Dixon was originally scheduled to appear in Miami-Dade Criminal Court on Monday. He was arrested March 29 for resisting arrest without violence following a traffic stop in Miami Beach.

Dixon, 25, signed with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Northwest Missouri State in 2014. He played in all 16 games for the Saints last season.

Mentioned this on the Lewis 'best group ever' thread...

Really liked what I saw of this guy, but we may now have even better on the roster...

All things being equal, this BS in Miami will factor into what looks like very tight competition for the third to fifth (maybe sixth) cornerback spots...

If we keep six (6) corners, I expect it's only to protect a player for a possible middle of training camp to beginning of season trade...

Or using his poor judgement against him. Most likely then overreacting. Which sometimes people can do - on both sides of the shield.

My guess is he was smarting off to the police, and they really couldn't give a **** less if he was a pro-athlete or not.

90% chance he got what he deserved.

He better hope this turns out well. A marginal player at a crowded position doesn't need this.
Oh, and June 29 is the first day of camp.

I did hear of a man with a badly swollen neck and a swollen foot trying to run off with a bag of stolen peanuts. I think it was known as Goiter-gout-goobergate...or something. Don't quote me on this..��
