I smell a clown. lets chop -um up and sprinkle the little smelly turds over the clown trying to stop S. gleason from blocking punt in front of the dome statue.

Drew's numbers in 2014 are nearly identical to his numbers in 2008...the year before he won the Superbowl. To quote coach Payton, "When we go into a game, this spot two yards behind the center is like the most important piece of property in football. If we can occupy that spot, then we’re going to win the game.”

That's why Unger is here.

We hate to think about it, but it's gonna happen folks. He had a potentially career-ending injury to his throwing shoulder... He's very succeptible to age taking it's toll on that shoulder. Look at what's happened to Manning; he's a total noodle arm now thanks to his surgeries. Just a fact of life.

In time, it's going to comeback around. He has sons.

Let's look at the present day, I like our chances with Drew.
The improved OL will be the key this season.

Drew Brees may be in decline. In fact, I don't doubt that his physical skills are diminishing. That being said, it doesn't mean he cannot have a sucessful year. Brees was a top 3 QB for a number of years. A little decline and he still could be top 5-6, so really nothing to worry about yet.

Mwah? OK a slight drop but I can't see the team being horribly worried at this point
