The secondary might in my opionion come down to how Vaccaro plays and how our front line plays. No pass rush will equal a hard time stopping anything, anyway shape or form. An open hole like last season want cut it. It all starts with the big boys and ends with them also.

I'm sorry if I'm being negative, but I have no faith in Ryan. As far as producing good defenses, 2013 was the outlier not the norm. While his defenses haven't been as bad historically as we were last season, for almost his entire career, they have been average to below average. I do not think his schemes work.

We added Williams in the trenches......that alone will help the front seven. Even if Williams is used only in rotation he will help the young studs.

The window is closing on our opportunity to have an elite quarterback for the Saints. Protect Brees and have a defense ranked between 10th and 15th overall and we have a chance for the playoffs.

The balance is luck and opportunities taken and not missed.

I like Allen coming in to help Ryan. The scholar and the maniac are united. Let's see what comes of this.
