Week 7 Indy
I feel we need to either win this or hope Atlanta loses at home to them. And if we don't win in Arizona week 1 it is a must win. And if the combined 2-2 or 0-4 pattern continues with us and TB on the road in interconference games, then what happens in Indy affects Houston. TB has a back and forth 1-1, 0-2 pattern in this frame and 0-2 is next should it continue. If Atlanta beats Indy they are going 4-0 against the AFC south and probably wins against Philadelphia, Washington, and NYG(but I could be wrong its five days rest after MNF against Philadelphia). They could lose to NYG and beat Dallas though in that two week frame. And Minnesota and a Harbaugh-less SF are their single division place matchups. That is NINE wins if they don't slip up. Count the automatic 3-3 in the division(they are not going 5-1 again no team has done that b2b) and thats 12 wins. We have to go 12+ to win the south, no questions asked and to do that we have to beat Indy week 7 on the road or beat Arizona and go 5-1 in division.
I see 2-2 or 4-0 against AFC south I see 3-1 against NFC East I see 1-1 or 2-0 in single division place matchups. And I see 3-3 again or 5-1 in division. This season looks easy to have a winning season but its not just about a winning season we have to win games that are not usually the kinds teams win. . . |

Re: Week 7 Indy
Same as it ever was. The road goes through the Falcons. Beat them, get the one game up on them, beat the Panthers, handle our own business. Historically over the Payton era, this team performs better overall when they have that one game edge up on the falcons early in the year. When they get one game down to the Falcons early on, they limp along and struggle the whole year. That is all.

Re: Week 7 Indy
Well in 2012, we won the first game but that didn't matter. I know its one game at a time. We will win the division I believe, it will be interesting how we do however.

Re: Week 7 Indy
failclowns = new coach impressive 1st game but they ain't fixen what all was happening in last years, they have picked up some talent but they need a season to jell. they will struggle
buckturds = new qb with all potential, but we always play sloppy against new rookie with or without greatness. growing pains all season panties = qb got paid so he will suck drowning in his stacks of cash. |
Re: Week 7 Indy
great game to pick as the pivotal game of the season. the term gelling will be getting mighty old by this point and this could be the bench mark game for whether or not Rob can do the job.
good selection |
