Saints receiver Joe Morgan says Brandon Browner is 'the real deal'
 

As minicamp concluded last week, Morgan reflected on how this offseason was different than a year ago. One major difference, he said, was the presence of free-agent cornerback Brandon Browner.

The 6-foot-4, 220-pound Browner, who just helped the New England Patriots win the Super Bowl, has been one of the more difficult defenders for Morgan and the Saints wideouts to match up again. After all, he looks like a linebacker or defensive lineman, Morgan joked.

Well I hope having to go against Browner everyday is making our wideouts tougher and learning them to get off the line better!

Browner gets a lot of penalties, he led the NFL for two years. He looks like more of a liability going off of those facts. Probably why the Pats let him go. Hopefully the coaches can get it under control.

They let Revis go as well so I would not let that be a determining factor on how good Brandon is.

He might get penalties but he doesn't give up TDs.

Agree, stopping TD's at the cost of higher penalties is a much much better scenario, certainly could have used that last year.

I hope he works out but I'm just saying, be prepared to experience Flag Day every game day because that's what he does.

Doesn't help that the Saints draw flags the same way a nudist colony draws mosquitoes!

Or not, depends on the flag helping or hurting the Saints!

On the rare occasion that I play Madden he gets torched constantly because he's so slow... At least in real life he can hold and get penalized instead lol.

Most of those penlites came on mis matches against smaller faster WR. plus the Pats had a run of bad luck with injuries last year making mismatches more common.

he is the perfect CB against Benjamin and Mike Evans. both can not fake anyone out if their life depended on it.

Make no mistake the Pats wanted him back

We all know he is a good DB. Last thing we need is our #6 WR telling us he is the "real deal". Jason David is probably the real deal to him.
