TOUGH TIMES: Saints Rookie DT Davison Turns Tragedy Into Triumph
Hope he makes the team!
When Saints rookie defensive tackle Tyeler Davison was a freshman in high school, he had an experience that no teenager should ever have to face in their young lives. One night after he awoke to the cries of his younger sister in their mom’s bedroom, Davison ran in to find the lifeless body of his mother Michelle, eyes open, slumped over on a couch in their Phoenix home. She had died from an apparent drug overdose (likely from crack cocaine). Davison quickly raced to the phone and called 911. The operator then gave him instructions on how to perform CPR; and then after his own unsuccessful attempts, local Phoenix firemen came running through the door and told him his mother had passed away. From everything I've heard; he was a steal in the 5th round

Hopefully he is a true NT. We need 1 to command that spot. If not our second level will have to step up, even so, that 3-5 yards gained by running backs.
