During the late 90's, my friends and I use tailgate under the overpass. We'd setup around 9am, free parking, grill, drink, and listen to WWL. Had some great times out there. It felt really in tune with the fellowship of rooting for an underdog team. Kinda Miss those days. That area is no longer accessible. Everyone (and their wallet) is funneled into the Square like a Disney ride. It's nice, not complaining at all but certainly family oriented.
