Brandon Browner Hoping To Return To Seahawks After Deal With Saints Is Up
Cancel the check and tell him to start kicking rocks!
New Saints CB Brandon Browner told reporters at Richard Sherman‘s softball game on Sunday that once his contract is up, he’s hoping to be back with the Seahawks, per Bob Condotta. The Patriots elected to not pick up Browner’s option after he reportedly declined to take a pay cut to be back in New England. New Orleans later signed him to a three-year contract worth $15 million and includes $10 million guaranteed. Browner, 30, originally signed on with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon State back in 2005. He last Brandon Browner Hoping To Return To Seahawks After Deal With Saints Is Up |

Not a good look and the season hasn't started yet.

Well, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt - he's never had a good Superdome crowd on his side...
And then there's local cuisine, drinks, New Orleans Ladies and donning the black and gold... |
Re: Brandon Browner Hoping To Return To Seahawks After Deal With Saints Is Up
Return as a what? he'll be 34 when he his deal is up.
Maybe he can be the asst. strength coach, but I doubt they trust him with the training room keys or the little plastic sample cups. Not the sh** we need from a guy picked up in FA to be a leader. |
Re: Brandon Browner Hoping To Return To Seahawks After Deal With Saints Is Up
I don't see the problem. Why would this bother anyone?

um, i am quite sure we will be ready to let him head back there. not a prob. I am sure he will play his heart out, this doesn't matter. He might be replaced as the number 2 by years end anyway
He was brought here for his leadership and physical play |
Re: Brandon Browner Hoping To Return To Seahawks After Deal With Saints Is Up
No issue with me...
He started with the Hawks and would hope to finish his career there. He'll do his thing while his with us though. |
Re: Brandon Browner Hoping To Return To Seahawks After Deal With Saints Is Up
I'll be happy to see him go as a 34 yr old corner.

I heard a guy named Ben Maller? / Fox sports Radio... (hilarious guy / I listen to him, whenever Im sleep in my own bed) and he said its probably just like whenever a comedian is in a town, they stroke the town they're in, which in this case Browner was in Seattle. -- by now, he knows he ****ed up. He'll be fine. and WE'll be fine. |
Re: Brandon Browner Hoping To Return To Seahawks After Deal With Saints Is Up
Saints front office brass signed Browner to be a terminator on the field. As long as he gives 100% every week against the likes of Julio Jones, Mike Williams, Vincent Jackson, Kelvin Benjamin etc... I could care less what he says ;).

Re: Brandon Browner Hoping To Return To Seahawks After Deal With Saints Is Up
For what it's worth, I think Breaux will be our #2 CB before the season's over. Browner hasn't played a full 16 games in a while and he's a penalty machine. I predict that once Breaux gets used to the differences between the CFL and the NFL he'll be a beast.

Re: Brandon Browner Hoping To Return To Seahawks After Deal With Saints Is Up
Hmm... in Seattle, playing softball for a local charity with ex-Hawk teammates...
Local reporter:"Brandon, don't you miss this town?" Wouldn't you like to come back and play here"? Brandon:"What? Hell, no. I hate this ****hole. I got cash from the Saints. And I am sure I am going to love it down there. WHO DAT!!! Why would I come back to the place that kicked me out to the curb after I helped them win a SB??? Are you out of your ****ing mind?!?!?" Local news guy:" Brandon Browner will miss the start of the 2015 NFL season after barely escaping with his live from a lynching mob at Richard Sherman's charity softball game." BTW, there is no direct quote from Browner in that article. What IBM told us about the internet in 1992, all lies... |

Be the difference maker in 2015 that helps the Saints win the Super Bowl, then you can go wherever you want...

Re: Brandon Browner Hoping To Return To Seahawks After Deal With Saints Is Up
Think of who Browner is talking to here. Seattle media and bloggers. He's one of their Superbowl heroes, just like Tracy Porter or so many others who won a SB for us and were traded or plucked from the team.
When a player retires, his future business is in the town he had the most success or impact. Smart business for him to give props to his former Superbowl team city. Again, he's saying this to Seattle reporters and bloggers. |
Re: Brandon Browner Hoping To Return To Seahawks After Deal With Saints Is Up
whats the big deal he wants to retire a seahawk turd.
2016 will be his last year here IMO along with so many others. 2017 Base Salary $2,750,000 Signing Bonus $1,300,000 Roster Bonus $2,250,000 Cap Hit $6,300,000 Dead $1,300,000 Freeing up 5 million in cap space in 2017 might be the right move UFA in great 2017 big buck off season Drew Brees QB 36 Brodrick Bunkley DT 31 Marques Colston WR 32 David Hawthorne ILB 30 Max Unger C 29 Kenny Vaccaro S 24 Ramon Humber ILB 27 Justin Drescher LS 27 Terron Armstead LT 24 John Jenkins DT 26 I see the writing on the wall myself. Brandon Browner would not make my list in 2017 at 32 Right now I only see two must signs. Armstead and Unger 3 if Drew does not hold us hostage. If he does not, then I understand not redoing his contract these past few years. but still 36? we will see. The others still need to prove themselves. Kenny? I am still on the fence about him. a true modern day SS is still on my wish list. Others probably go out to pasture and/or seek greener pastures elsewhere 2017 off season will be so much fun and the draft is so huge next year. |
Re: Brandon Browner Hoping To Return To Seahawks After Deal With Saints Is Up
Hagan, re Drew Brees at 36 - imagine this:
LT Armstead LG Lelito (maybe) C Unger RG "a young Jhari Evans" RT "a seasoned Andrus Peat" I think Drew could play 2 more years behind that kind of line.. |
Re: Brandon Browner Hoping To Return To Seahawks After Deal With Saints Is Up
depends on the money to keep him here at that point really but in his favor i do not see his replacement on the roster,

Re: Brandon Browner Hoping To Return To Seahawks After Deal With Saints Is Up
