New Orleans Saints washed hands of Junior Galette months ago
1 Attachment(s)
A former New Orleans Saints teammate of Junior Galette's said exactly what the organization was thinking when it finally decided to part ways with the embattled outside linebacker: "He stayed focused long enough to get paid, then the real Junior came out. Sad."
Galette confirmed Friday that the Saints will release him, ending a five-year run with the team. He's lucky he lasted this long as the Saints initially began serious discussions to cut ties with Galette shortly after his January arrest for simple battery involving domestic violence. There was no chance on planet Earth that Galette would play for the Saints in 2015. No matter the cost. No matter the sack totals. No matter how it looks to cut a player months after rewarding him so handsomely. Galette would never suit up in the black and gold again. read more |

Money and fame went to his head. Sad part about it he's not the only player this has happened to. At least he hasn't killed anyone like Hernandez, yet.

What a waste. Damn I wish the front office would've cut him earlier. Before that monster contract.
