this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; It's Mr. Bensons money, but I would keep them near home and support the local economy. I personally believe the hot camp is good for them....

Limits distractions. I think that is the main reason. Endurance wise, no. Training in heat, mentally nothing like it. Your body tells you to quit but with good hydration and short breaks, it changes your mental toughness from my experience. Years ago they tried to have some Olympic trials outdoors in NO. Most of the runners collapsed. And the cross fit stuff, that didn't work out either. Last season we looked smoked, even after TO's and being off the field. If that happens again it's time to make other arrangements.
