New Orleans Saints 2015 salary cap: About $2 million left as training camp begins
 

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W. Va. -- The New Orleans Saints have just over $2 million to play with in 2015, once again squeezing under the NFL salary cap with only a bit of room to spare.

While the slim margin won't necessarily require the Saints to make financially driven roster decisions in camp this month, it will ensure the Saints don't cut any player whose remaining "dead money" far exceeds his 2015 cap number.

The NOLA.com cap analysis shows the Saints with $2.38 million of space available. The NFLPA version, which usually reflects the official numbers, shows the team with $2.05 million available.

Colston has a big number.... I wonder if he makes the team this year and what happens to the cap if he is cut? His drops have increased the last couple of years.
