I think Randy gave Brooks that contract cause A) he cried for it and held out, and B) this town is so starved for a winner it was good PR to lock up the guy who gets credit for quarterbacking the team in it\'s first playoff win. If you wanna dispute the fact this team was 7-4 and already headed for the playoffs before anyone knew what an Aaron Brooks was, go ahead. I don\'t discount the contributions of others just to build my guy up. AB DID NOT BEAT ANYONE OUT OF A STARTING JOB. BLAKE GOT HURT. If you don\'t recall that, well I have to call into question a few of your other recollections from the past.
