Only a self righteous ***** like peter king would google for a comment about what someone said 10 years ago about a 7th round pick. Did Peter predict Colston to be good? Did he even know we had drafted him before he caught his first pass?

I thought (after reading about him to figure out who he was) that he could develop into a good player... as a tight end. I liked his size and hands but figured he wouldn't be athletic enough to play WR in the NFL, so I thought they would put some weight on him and convert him to TE.

Nobody knows what will happen with late rounders.

I think the funniest thing about this whole FF quote is that Peter King found B&G.com, searched back almost ten years, and randomly selected a quote from one of thousands of threads. Either Peter reads this board all the time (and has a man crush on FF), or he's one hell of an internet sleuth.

Not really. Go to the fan site. Go to the period of time. Find what ANYBODY had to say about the obscure pick. Quote it. Burning metal is right. The writer hadn't said anything about him so he had to find anybody that had.
