He's a camp body that they probably want to see in action to determine if he's worthy of a practice squad offer.

I don't think it has anything to do with the talent we currently have at TE

Saints need to watch the waiver wire as San Diego has a TE from Albany named Brian Parker; we need to sign him should he become available...

We went to the NFC Championship with Ernie Cromwell, Mark Campbell, and Billy Miller....We will be okay for this season with Ben....

There's gotta be a team with a decent back-up TE who needs a free safety... I'm thinking Rafael Bush for an equally average player.

I bet he makes the practice squad. The potential with this guy. Let's not forget the Bills signed him too - even if he didn't last, they must have seen something they liked.
