"The New Orleans Saints are placing defensive end Anthony Spencer on injured reserve as the team gets down to 75 players, his agent said Monday.

Spencer, who was a Pro Bowler with the Dallas Cowboys in 2012, will miss the rest of the season after suffering an unspecified injury that has kept him out since the first preseason game, agent Jordan Woy said."

I would have loved to see something positive from Spencer...and I hate to say I told you so, but I believe I predicted he was past his prime and going to have a difficult time recovering.

He would have been great depth behind Cam Jordan...

This will present a younger, faster, stronger youth an opportunity...

shame he looked pretty good to. yet another injury gamble that goes bust for the saints.

Drew was curse IMO. the saints appear to think they can strike gold every year with these gambles. only to be dumping money down the toliet
