Like the Colts -3 over the Bills and the Bengals -3.5 over the Raiders. Road favorites make me a little nervous. But, clearly better teams.

As far as the Saints and Cardinals, I think the Cards D has a very slight edge over the Saints O. They're very physical have some play makers in the secondary which matches up well against Brees. And the Cards O has a slight edge over the Saints D just because of the youth and inexperience that will be starting for the Saints. The points won't come into play. The Saints will win outright or the Cards will cover. If you held a gun to my head and made me bet, I would lay the points.

Aha! Its working!
we've even fooled VEGAS into thinking We SUCK.

by appearing to suck hugely on defense, and overall, we'll be able
to sneak up on all our opponents.

The Plan is working!

Would Operation Poker Face be a more catchy title?

We play at the Cards... this means we are even for this game. The 3 point difference is the home field edge.

I thought we could win this(and maybe still can) but Arizona and SF are NFC West pairs and between the two they both won't lose so who has the better chance to win? Arizona against us or SF against clowns? SF is going to be BAD this year. If went to their place we would beat them.

I'm waiting for the Saints injury report for this game so I can better gage our chances for a win. The current point spread is 2.5.

Guess we will get plenty of help from Vegas for flying under the radar. As you all say the operative is in place all we have to do is execute it.

At the start of pre-season I checked the week 1 lines, and this one was a 2.5 back then. Surprised oddsmakers didn't view our preseason and injury situation in a poorer light.
In bettor's parlance, this is a sucker bet

Or maybe its just that we just havent looked that good. I want to see them prove it on the field.

The Saints secondary makes Carson Palmer look like Peyton Manning in his 30's. He won't see this little pressure all season.

Re: NFL Week 1 odds: New Orleans Saints open as underdog against Arizona Cardinals

Michael Floyd is still recovering from breaking 3 fingers and Larry Fitzgerald isn't an elite receiver anymore. I think our secondary can handle them just fine. Carson Palmer is awful so I won't for a second worry about him.

Carson Palmer with time in the pocket can throw darts. Add John Brown at WR and he is a potential deep threat.

PRESSURE will be key. Palmer is no spring chicken w/ bad knees so disrupting his timing will be paramount on Sunday.

Good thing they'll have a rookie starting at right tackle.

We always struggle against the Cards. I am expecting a tough fight.

were going to lay a 40 burger on their 1 and 1/2 legged QB. ITS what we have to score to allow the defense suckage, still confident brees and company will (COOK) them red birds.

OMG thats crazy, Cardinals have the worst OL Ive seen so far. No run game because of it. Palmer spent most of his time in the preseason desperately lobbing the ball up. They might make our defense look like the 1978 steelers steel certain.
Ive never seen them look this bad before. We should be able to beat them or thats a bad sign if we cant.

Dont know. I need to see something more from our delapadated D to gauge better.

I don't have a prediction. I just have a bad feeling about this game. If the Saints can jump out at 14-0 on their first two possessions, I think we'll be alright. Larry Fitzgerald is still elite. His QB just sucks. John Brown is scary. Andre Ellington is dangerous. They're defense is full of playmakers. So we'll see how it goes.

I disagree about Palmer. When he's healthy he's pretty good.
And his strength is the intermediate throws, which looks to be one of our weaknesses going into 2015.

I think we'll lose 5 or 6 games this year, Arizona was one I thought we'd lose.

w/ this defense, we could crank out 40 & still lose.

Re: NFL Week 1 odds: New Orleans Saints open as underdog against Arizona Cardinals

Other than the one obvious exception in that one game where they changed QB's, ran a lucky fumble forward into the end zone, and Drew threw all the ugly picks, Payton always seems to have a way of racking up the pinball style points against the Cards. I'm hoping for more of the same, but my eyeballs tell me this year it's not gonna be quite so easy.

I never took the time to figure out odds and how to bet on sports, maybe the best decision in my life. I'm sure I'd be in the poor house by now

I cant believe the defense held fairly well, considering, and the OFFENSE sucked.
