I'm not sure what fires people up about the cards... Offensively they don't have many weapons and there O-line is in very rough shape from what I have seen/read. Everyone seems to love their defense but they did lose quite a few players this off-season, not to mention losing their DC. In my opinion the cards finish last in the NFCW this year.

Behind SF? St.Louis will have to win in places like GB, Minnesota, Baltimore, and Cincinatti. Arizona has those at home. I think that tips the scales.

truthfully, i dot know what to expect, but we have some injuries, and i haven't seen a meaningful pass rush since 13. I think our offense will put up points, but if our D is as bad as I think it may be (and i so want to eat crow) that could make our o one dimensional.


so we will see.. just dont know what to think or expect from these guys yet. I do think our D is going to get better with what we are adding, I am just not sure it will be this year. Fingers crossed!

I'm going with what I've saw in pre-season Saints 21- Arizona 27. Our D gets gashed by the run game enough to let Palmer hit his WR.

51-24 Cards. Over by the end of the 1st quarter, with Cards up 21-0 after scoring first, Brees interception and subsequent score, a Saints' 3-out, then a long drive by the Cards to put and end to the day.

With 20% dead money, mostly from huge mistakes on defensive personnel, plus the injuries to Byrd and Lewis (which nearly doubles the dead money from a practical perspective) we should only hope that we can survive the plane ride home.

It would be more than a pleasant surprise to win against a team that has a dominant top 5 defense and a top 10 offense on the road.

Saints 27 Cardinals 31. I watched the Saints secondary last night watching the Steeler's secondary against the Patriots. It was an ugly thing.

21-10 Saints. The Cards' O line makes our D look like pro bowlers. This leads to some over confidence type problems for the D rolling into game two.

For what it's worth, I saw that all pro G Mike Iupati is OUT on Sunday for the Cards...potentially a big deal. We need to pounce like sharks in blood infested water.
