Swap two of our FG's for TD's and we still lose. Still short a TD. Colston can easily be covered. If the ball is on target and anyone is close, it's getting swatted down more often than not or flat out dropped. 4th down call, no. Go for it. Put the ball in the hands of your best players not in the hands of a shaky defense. Brees to Cooks or Snead. If they can't get 6 yards then yes, we should lose.

This game was basically over early in the 1st/2nd quarter, when the Saints failed to score touchdowns on their first 2 or 3 drives with the ball. Like it was in 2012 and a lot of the time last year, this year the offense needs to score a touchdown EVERY TIME THEY TOUCH THE BALL because we know the defense is going to routinely give up 31 points or more, in back-breaking fashion, or always give up the first down or the score, at the worst possible times. I know while the game was going on, it kinda felt like the game was close for a time, or that it could maybe go either way at some point, but in reality Arizona was firmly in control, the whole time, they manhandled us on both sides of the ball and the game was never really ever in doubt. They had the lead from the opening drive until the final gun. Maybe the Bucs will be more our speed.

It felt that we never really had a chance. I don't see any moral victories except that the Saints forced them to have 13 players on a punt. Not sure how we did that but we should do it every play.

Thank God the Saints didn't blow out the Cards and then get man-handled by the Bucs the following week!

About half of the forum would REALLY jump out of windows!
