Jenkins and Hicks Cannot Start Anymore
 

These guys have had every opportunity and they continue to be awful. Kevin Williams doesn't provide any pass rush but at least he doesn't get pushed around. If we were to keep starting Cam Jordan and Kevin Williams, how would you fill out the rest of the line? Richardson, Davison and Eulls are all possibilities.

I'd rotate Richardson to end & try Hicks at NT. Jenkins is a loss cause IMO.

I'm really missing Bunkley right about now.

We've gotta bring Bunkley back... No doubt about that. Bunkley and Wiliiams in the middle would be so good. Agreed on Richardson at end.

Lots of over-reaction in this thread.

Jenkins and Hicks should be starting, however I don't think Jenkins should be on the field for passing downs. Hicks may need to come out as well...

We just need to find that pass rushing group. I couldn't believe the amount of times I only saw 3 pass rushers. I don't understand that at all from Ryan, he should be bringing 4-5 every time to help the DBs but instead he leaves them on the island for a longer period...

Jenkins shouldn't be on the field for running or passing downs. He's not a role player, he should just be a backup at this point. Hicks I can see keeping in on short yardage situations, but like you said he needs to come out on passing downs. Bottom line is, we need better options than these guys.

Problem is no one is really stepping up. The only one that is standing out is Jordan, however he manages to miss two easy sacks.

Pass rushing D-line is the teams biggest weakness, followed by WR. Can't leave the DBs in coverage for 10 secs and expect a decent QB to not find a guy open.

I believe K. Williams out played Jenkins but he can't be an every down NT at this point in his career. If Jenkins wants to be great he can learn a lot from Williams.

Why have we never tried Hicks at NT?! He clearly lacks any ability to rush the passer. He's the size of a refrigerator though, surely he could at least provide an upgrade at NT over Jenkins.

I thought Tyeler Davison looked decent every time he was in at DT. He should push Jenkins to the bench. Jenkins and Hicks got pushed around bad.

They always get pushed around. That's my problem with them. I agree about Davison... Plug him in next to Kevin Williams and he could flourish next to such a savvy veteran. Plug in Richardson at DE instead of Hicks and now we're talking!

Something's gotta change it was pretty sad to see Palmer just sit back and have all day and then some to throw... We will make Winston look like Rogers next week if we can't get pressure.....

I noticed

OLB did pretty well with containing their speed rush. No wild looping pass rush.

DE did a solid job in lane containment and pushing the pocket

NT was no where to be seen in the middle.

Each and every time Palmer stepped up in the pocket there was nothing, just simple nothing. No players. No hands. Just vacant green space step into.

Jenkins just might be soft. Hicks flashes at times but not enough. He might benefit from a move inside.
