Starting the season 0-2, which is not at all good for playoff hopes, isn’t even an option, according quarterback Drew Brees. “That’s not even an option,” Brees said during Wednesday afternoon’s press conference. “We got to find a way to win.”

The last Bucs game was really a loss with Bucs pulling starters for the draft implication, otherwise we lose. Counting that one, preseason and last week...that's a real smell losing aroma of 6 games in a row.

The scheduling Gods probably had something in mind for the Saints with a tough road in the first half of the season.

Of course 0-2 is an option. We've done it before in 2007,2012 and 2014. Best thing is that the more you do it, and the more recently you do it, the more habit forming it becomes.

The Bucs likely realized last week they need to start jockeying for position early for another new QB. We may get the early bird special on the benching of starters treatment.

I'd be nice to see Spiller in this game. Maybe one day we'll see Bryd too.
