griese gone too unless he does a friendlier deal. a lot of names in the pot. the idea of getting a veteran who has started in the past to push in camp or be there if fumblitis hits ab is sounding more practical to me. someone in the 2-3mil range as a better insurance policy than bouman.

..Brad Johnson is too old.. he was a solid QB 2-3 years ago, but even then his game was on the decline...

Probably says enough about Johnson right there. Also, I seem to remember during their superbowl run, he wasn\'t exactly lighting things up til near the end of the season when he got hot. He reverted back to usual form and was thusly benched.

The Saints aren\'t going to look to this guy...that was never implied...

But..the fact that they are actively cutting cap space...is an indication that they may make a splash this year in F.A....

Plus..chances are..the are going to try to get Cadillac from the draft...

They may be in cap trouble regardless...but..they are at least setting up to make some big changes...

I hope we can get active, and make some big changes as well this year...but..I don\'t see it happening.
