Bench Browner
I've seen enough. Penalties, slow as ****, looks lost on the field...
|
Re: Bench Browner
Cut Browner
Swann is already a 1000 times better than him |
Re: Bench Browner
As soon as Lewis is back, he needs to be on the bench. He is total garbage.
|
Re: Bench Browner
Trade him. Cut him. Swann absolutely should start.

Re: Bench Browner
I thought when we signed him we would be playing that press coverage.... I saw browner 15 yards off the line of scrimmage all day....
|
Re: Bench Browner
In all fairness, Browner was never supposed to be our #1 CB... Let alone have our #3 FS playing behind him. I agree he sucks in his current role, but he's a victim of circumstance.
|
Re: Bench Browner
Browner got paid then checked out. Always happens with any vet we sign.
|
Re: Bench Browner
Browner looking like s**t. Byrd not playing. How many more reasons do we need to fire Loomis?
|
Re: Bench Browner
Browner is not doing his job. And this team has been played by a bunch of bench-warmers looking for their payday. Sad.
|
Re: Bench Browner
I am on the Browner sucks bandwagon. #brutal"coverage"
|
Re: Bench Browner
Browner looks like hot **** out there but I will say playing off coverage and zone schemes which ryan loves isnt working for browner... hasnt really worked for anyone. Im in favor of firing ryan before benching browner.
|
Re: Bench Browner
Plenty of blame to go around. Head coach, gm, staff, players.
O-2 division, 0-3 in the conference. This can totally slip out of reach really soon. But back to the statement above.... bench him |
Re: Bench Browner
What exactly was Browner doing watching that TE run past him? Honestly, I will take half of his salary to do that.

Re: Bench Browner
Brandon has been hot garbage the last 3 weeks. Put him in the slot & let him mug the WR within the 5 yard threshold. I'd rather have Swann on the island.
|
Re: Bench Browner
Browner is out of position playing press cover. Sorta like using a butter knife instead of a screw driver. It may eventually get the job done, but it ain't pretty and it ain't efficient!

Re: Bench Browner
Keenan Lewis, Delvin Breaux and Damian Swann are gonna make for an awesome CB group though once Browner is out of the picture.
|
Re: Bench Browner
you think SP is gonna have Browner sit when he was paid all that money? No. It won't happen.
|
Re: Bench Browner
he has checked out, cashed it in and can hardly wait 3 years to retire. thar guy has no business on the field he is in don't get hurt just play dumb mode like a few has done before. tillman still has heart.
|
Re: Bench Browner
Newton literally had all day to throw. You can put any DB back there and if the D line isnt getting pressure they are going to get torched every time.
|
Re: Bench Browner
Seeing more and more of Payton in Ryan's face. I think he's on thin ice. If it continues he will be gone mid season. They looked lost.

Re: Bench Browner
You would think Browner was the rookie or 1st year player. Breaux is seldom tested. Swann a rookie been tried at but with no or little success. By my assessment Browner need to play up on the wr (man to man) with a safety over the top or lb/safety to prevent a slant. He can not be left on a island. Browner kryptonite is the slugo (slant and go) Rex Ryan need to know what his player weakness and strength and play to it. Kikaha don't need to be dropping in pass coverage 10 or 15 % of time, The linebacker need to be less predictable if they're going to rush or drop in zones. The talent is there but the position coaches are not
I tried to wait for my 1000 post to be after a win :( |
Re: Bench Browner
When Lewis returns Browner will be benched I'm sure of it. He would be our #4 CB at that point.
|
Re: Bench Browner
I don't think he's been as bad as many of you think - the Carolina game wasn't good, but I liked the one play where he caught the receiver from behind and lunged for a successful tackle. At least that play showed he wasn't willing to give up on the play, otherwise it would've been a TD.
Browner is supposedly a locker-room leader, so while the current state of the team might suggest that he isn't doing a good at leading - the young team around him desperately need veteran leadership. |
Re: Bench Browner
It's all about the coaching...............Browner is not being played to the old mans strengths. Press baby!!!
