You could go back 20+ years except superbowl year and those numbers would be about the same.we haven't had a decent defense since the dome patrol years

weee at this clip we are going to allow 448! tied with last year. so thing are not getting any worse lol

By season end we should have less than 448 if everyone returns healthy and plays. so between 448 and 304?

Difference is 2013 we averaged 19 points allowed.
Last year and this we're allowing 28 points allowed per game.

That's 9 extra points per game and probably accounts for 4 or 5 losses.
If we can improve and get the average allowed per game below 20 we are a contender.

good point! we need to get it down to like average of 17 alloed.... and we'd still be 2-1 right now. LOL.

Yeah...and we leave some points on the field, too.

Last week, blocked extra point. -1 point for the offense. Forces us to go for 2 later and we fail. -2 for the offense. -3 points for the offense last week.

This week, one missed extra point. -1 point for the offense. Forces us to go for 2 later and we fail. -2 for the offense. -3 points for the offense.

-6 points in 2 weeks by our offense & special teams for a defense that gives up 28 points a game. We are 0-3. Mystery solved.
