Brees likely back
 

Drew Brees (shoulder) had a successful throwing session on Tuesday and will resume practicing on Wednesday.
Brees missed last week's game with a sprained rotator cuff but is confident it was just a one-week absence. Luke McCown did a serviceable job in his place, completing 31-of-38 passes for 310 yards in a loss to Carolina. If Brees can put in a full week of practice without encountering any setbacks, we'd expect him to play Sunday against Dallas. Sep 29 - 3:53 PM

I liked how McNown distributed the ball around and never forced a pass. He took what the defense gave him. I would rather he play and let Drew get completely healthy.

I like the positive thinking. But, I'm so sure that won't happen, I will vote Republican in 2016 if it does. :)
