Hello Saints fans

I'm a Dallas Cowboys fan (that's the part where you scoff, roll your eyes, or express some other emotion of disgust, pity and contempt). I come mostly in peace, caffeine and confusion, but those last two are normal.

I'm betting NBC is regretting scheduling this one, lmao. #WeeDenBoyz vs the Brees-less Saints? Or they're Breesy, I don't know yet. Is Brees playing? Will that all too familiar Cool-Brees flow through the roofed Merc-dome? Will it be healthy if it does? Or is McCown going to simply a better option at this point because of health? He does have a commercial.

I would love to proclaim that Dallas has the advantage in this game, but we simply do not know. Our coaches are familiar with fatter Ryan, so that helps. But then again, if Smokin Weeden doesn't throw the ball more than four yards, Flabbio will shut down our offense the way ATL did last week.

I don't know whether to be terribly afraid of your offense or not. Brees playing, and playing healthy, will be a determining factor. It also depends how our Jekyll and Hyde defense performs; 85 Bears or 2013 Dallas Cowboys (terrible flashbacks occur), there is no in between. Oh no, we don't switch that up between games. We switch it up between quarters and individual drives too. Gangsta Garrett and Marinelli keeping things fresh.

Watch out for Lance Dunbar and Cole Beasley. I don't know what is up with Terrance Williams right now, our #1 WR, but Romo-less, Dez-less Williams isn't so great. Dunbar and Beasley will catch a lot of underneath passes, because The Crimson Cannon can check-down with the best of them. Also watch out for Gavin "Pablo" Escobar, our big, athletic, mis-match nightmare TE who catches everything that comes his way and never really does anything.

So now, if you will be so kind as to enlighten me, tell me something about the Saints I don't know. Who is an unknown player I should watch out for, one that doesn't make the highlight reel every week? How do you envision the Big Lebowski slowing down the 102 RAT Weeden? And how will your offense attack our, well, whatever we trot out on the field Sunday night?

Good Luck, New Orleans. Here's to an entertaining, legendary game no matter the outcome.

Thanks for Fatter Ryan, at least your Boss knew enough to send him packing.

Re: Hello Saints fans

It's gonna be the best game of the year, NFC Championship game preview, with unknown players. Saints are on the way to running off 16 straight wins, but are focused on each week only. These 1st 3 games were part of the strategy, to get back to underdog status. Ryan will pump the defense up these week, KV will return to rookie impact mode, Cam Jordan will get 2 sacks this Sunday, and Brees will throw 5 TDs, probably 4 on screen plays and Willie Snead or Morgan with a deep TD. Hell Ingram will join in on the fun and make it through a hole and run for 120 and a score. Yeah that's how its plays out. 42-21!!! I can dream :)

After the game last week I traded for Dunbar on Madden. He tore it up. Marcus Murphy (if we actullay use him) is very similar in skill to Darren Sproles. Not sure about his blocking though. I expect the Cowboys O-Line to dominate our D-Line so, unless Weeden throws a couple of INTs, our D will be gassed by the second half and we all know how that goes. Hopefully the Saints offense will get into rhythm and score in the red zone. The only reciever we have that can take it to the house is Cooks. Trading Stills away was a bad move.

An honest Cowboy fan.
A rare specimen indeed.
At least the Cowboys have a few things they can point to and say "I like that!"
We, on the other hand, are scraping the bottom of the barrel and still nothing.
Week to week, we don't have a clue what they are trying to do.
Maybe this will be our week where we find ourselves.
I am actually making the trip on this one.
Hope that's exactly what we've been needing.

Goes to show you that the system and the QB can make a WR look good. Ask James Jones. He finally made it back to GB after stints with Oakland and Minnesota (I think). He didn't produce like he did with GB. Now he's doing well again.

Drew will play, throw 3 tds for 300 yards and the Saints will lose. Everyone will blame Drew for not throwing 5 tds and 400 yards.

Well, that would be all too familiar to me.

I remember a Cowboys game from a few years ago where Tony threw for 500 yards, 5 TDs, and we still lost. Not only did we lose, Tony took heat for the loss because of a freakish INT in the 4th qtr. It was insane.

High profile QBs will always take some of the blame for a loss, whether they deserve it or not.

It was vs Denver. Danny Trevathan intercepted Romo. It was great individual effort.

I remember that game too, watched most of it. Romo really did have a hell of a game, he was the whole reason they were in it. I sincerely felt for the guy when it happened, shame that it ended like that.

You do realize Dallas' defense isn't any better since he was fired

Re: Hello Saints fans

Not only do I not hate the Cowboys anymore, (I did in the 90s, when Michael Irvin & Co. were there.) I like Tony Romo. I saw him torch us in '06 in an exhibition game in Shreveport, (which I think we should do every year.) and
he torched us, in the absence of Drew Bledsoe.

You can chalk this one up in the W column. Even if Drew Brees is re-tooled
with a bionic rotator cuff, and Marques Colston jumps into the pool from the movie, Cocoon, and we score 80 points, our defense couldnt stop a pack of weiner dogs. There simply isnt a quarterback beyond Division II College level who cannot score on us. You really should save Weeden, or whoever your b/u is, and let Jason Garrett suit up. He could light us up for 50 easily.

Guys to watch. We have an unknown RB, Khiry Robinson who runs like there is Icy Hot in his Jock, and if we gave the ball to him, you might have a problem.

Fortunately for you, we insist on giving most of our carries to Mark Ingram, who consistently is stopped after 1.5 yards. You will dominate us on both lines. You will win every short yardage down. The reason we have a big ridiculous pyrotechnic / fog pregame introduction, is because our O-line couldnt push their way thru a paper sign.

We've had a horrific year in the Front Office, our talent is nill, and our coaching staff is clueless. We are not a rudderless ship. We have no rudder, sail, or engine.

Most troubling is our mental state. These guys dont know how to win.
They dominated Carolina for about 18 minutes last week, and suddenly got scared, and the wheels fell off. Even if you fall behind, we're going to find a way to lose. There is not a dumb penalty, or stupid mistake we wont make. We suck from top to bottom, and The Curse is back in New Orleans.

Enjoy this win.

We get our extra points blocked. '

Does that tell you you should put some money on this game?

Yes I've been a Saints fan since 67. I know a good organization, good coaching and effort when I see it. I don't see it, haven't for a while.

Ah yes, what an irritating INT. I remember Romo literally getting his leg stomped on by Tyron Smith right as he was releasing, then Trevathan diving about 97 feet to pick it off.

I may be biased, but I believe that 5 TDs/500 Yards was enough. Not only was the INT not even really his "fault", we shouldn't have been in the situation where an INT would lose the game.

I'll have to look into those stats. The eyeball test says it's better, but I'm probably wrong.

I will say that it may not be better, but it's well-coached and has a different mentality as a whole.

Good game guys. I ain't even mad.

Who was in at LB for us towards the end there? Tom Cruise?

It was certainly a frustrating game but I do think we can rebound when we get some of our starters back.

As far as New Orleans goes, I'm happy for Drew Brees. Good game by a great guy. 400 TDs. And that Snead fellow, everybody wants a Thneed! The Lorax will have something to say about that!

Anyway, yeah. I would have strongly prefer, you know, if you lost, but I'm not very upset considering the only difference between our team and The Walking Dead is Melissa McBride, and even she could start at DE for us right now.

Congrats.

Yeah, you had guys dropping like flys. Hope they are ok and sorry your guys got hurt TC. We are not fans of other players getting hurt, really hope Dunbar and the rest of your boys get better. You still have a shot to win the east when Romo is back. The injury bug is hard to deal with. Brees was hurt in this game, its no fun.
Hope your boys get better.

Thanks. Hope the Cowboys can get healthier. Man that game was a toss-up, more defensive fouls than an NBA game, especially on the Saints side.

Agree about the fouls. There was quite a stretch where it looked like the only offense the Cowboys could generate was based upon stupid plays by our D.
