Cooks is small and dynamic in space but can't beat double teams deep.(to small) The O-line has problems. The D-line needs to get more pressure. Browner needs to be face to face on the line with his man for him to have any sucess. Kiki- got to like him. Anthony needs to play much better although he was somewhat better against Dallas but those other 3 games you can draw your own conclusion. Hard to see a sudden improvement with the O-line as a whole. The D-line has a chance to get better but want strike fear in better teams. Our middle is still exposed. |

Brees can throw a deep ball still. The 30 yd completion to Coleman was a great back shoulder throw that had some zip on it. We just don't call the plays to get it down field and when we do we can't get enough protection. |
Re: Standout stats
1st NFL team with the most rookies starting to win the SB. Not confirmed yet but still on the table.

Re: Standout stats
I have have no documentation for these stats, but we have to be near the bottom in defensive penalty first downs, and third and long conversions against.
Both are backbreakers and the reason we don't give off the field. That, and being 30th in takeaways with a whopping .75 per game avg. |

When he has to make a tight throw downfield, he won't even attempt it because it's gonna hang up too long. Aside from velocity issues I don't know how much further he can really get the ball out there, beyond 30 yards. I also didn't think the protection was as horrible as people are saying it was. He got sacked on a couple of occasions where he held the ball forever. That's been a criticism I've had of him the last couple years. He doesn't get rid of it quickly like he used to. And if no one is open, he needs to just throw it away. McCown did a very good job a couple weeks ago of getting out of the pocket. Instead of just standing there and waiting for something to happen, sometimes you need to buy some time for yourself and get out of the pocket. Drew rarely does that anymore. |

0-3 in the division is death sentence. I honestly believe it would be better to loss to in phili to guarantee all hands are as healthy as possible for the falclowns. So the fact Terron Armstead is ruled out maybe good if the rest gets him on the feild for the falclowns. Quote:

Re: Standout stats
That's what I was thinking too. But if we lose to Atlanta and beat Philadelphia and Indy it's not a death sentence. It would be a death sentence in terms of our rivalry but not for the season.
