My question is - so our WR don't get separation, our o-line is average to poor, why create situations the force the QB to sit in the pocket endlessly for plays to develop? That's all coaching and play calling. What happened to quick slants, dink and dunks? What happened to the wheel-route today? CJ Spiller non-existant.... the game plan on offense was setup to fail. |
Re: Sources: Dolphins among teams expected to inquire about Sean Payton
Alcohol, painkillers and free reign to do whatever the hell he wants with the team without threat of losing his job have ruined his ability to be a great leader.

^Payton does those things?
What is Payton's ex-wife's name? |
Re: Sources: Dolphins among teams expected to inquire about Sean Payton
I haven't seen a game plan on offense this year...and that's on Payton...our offense sucks as bad as our defense now. Hell, we even struggle in garbage time.

Re: Sources: Dolphins among teams expected to inquire about Sean Payton
The San Antonio talk is just people stuck in old ways. The Dome is currently sold out with a huuuuuge waiting list. The Saints lease keeps them in the Dome until the 2025 season. The Chargers, Raiders and Rams are all MUCH higher on the list for any potential roost in San Antonio, than the Saints. There's no need to wake up in a cold sweat at night worrying about it anymore, that "moving to San Antonio" panic is old news now. Just read Forbes magazine, the Saints profits were up 36% just last year alone. Their revenue stream has doubled since 2006.

But keep in mind the point King made last night on NBC about advice that Payton surely has gotten at some point from one of his mentors, Bill Parcells: It’s better to leave a job one year too early than one year too late.

Sad thing is, if Payton stays, we will never get rid of his buddies and the mediocrity will continue. |
